With her neon green hair and confident pop sound, Finnish singer ALMA is making a name well beyond her home country. • ALMA got her start on Season 7 of the reality competition Idols, where she finished fifth. • After featuring on the 2015 single “Muuta ku mä” by Finnish rapper Sini Sabotage, ALMA released her first solo single, “Karma,” the following year. The song reached No. 5 on the Finnish singles chart and was the lead single from ALMA’s EP Dye My Hair. • Also in 2016, ALMA was the featured vocalist on “Bonfire” by the German DJ Felix Jaehn. The song charted across Europe, peaking at No. 14 in Finland and No. 3 in Germany. • Her 2017 single “Chasing Highs” went Top 20 in the UK. • Following a string of EPs and mixtapes, ALMA released her first official album, Have U Seen Her?, in 2020. The album hit No. 1 on the Finnish albums chart.
