Alexis Ayaana is a contemporary R&B and rap vocalist from Atlanta, Georgia who is signed to the Grown Money Entertainment (GME) label. In 2014, while she was a student at Clark Atlanta University, she released her first single, "Balenciaga." An alternately sweet and aggressive track, it featured a guest appearance from rapper and fellow Atlanta native Kwony Ca$h. It made a significant impact locally and led to a Best Female Vocalist nod at the 2014 Atlanta Underground Music Awards. The following year, "Balenciaga" was given a wider release and reached more ears through its inclusion on Trap House, a mixtape from DJ I.Q. ~ Andy Kellman
