Preto Show

Angolan producer and singer Preto Show emerged in 2016 with a stylish sound that combines elements of Afro-beat, funk, hip-hop, R&B, and zouk. Show got his start in the popular Afro-house group the Groove before embarking on a successful solo career with the release of his debut EP, Panamera, in 2017. The following year, he teamed up with fellow Angolan Biura for the full-length Clepatia, and in 2020 he unveiled the star-studded Banger, which featured guest spots from a host of Angolan, Brazilian, and Portuguese artists, including Anitta, Nego do Borel, and Anselmo Ralph. ~ James Christopher Monger
