The Moonlandingz

Comprising members of agit-punks Fat White Family and synth prog group Eccentronic Research Council, the Moonlandingz combine the strong rhythms of disco with outlandish lyrics, while the vocalists chew on the scenery in varying degrees. Many of the singers are big name guests like Yoko Ono and Iggy Pop, some are brilliantly off-beat (a member of the Village People and Spud from Trainspotting.) Their first album, 2017's Interplanetary Class Classics, told the rollicking tale of an imaginary glam group, while 2025's No Rocket Required is slightly more grounded in human experience.
