Dj Lambo

Nigerian DJ Lambo fuses house music with Afropop, hip-hop, and techno elements and established herself as a record label executive along the way. She started her career in 2008 as a radio personality before becoming the DJ for rapper M.I Abaga and then signing to Loopy Music in 2013. She attracted attention with the single "The Motion" and two DJ mixes, and won the Female DJ of the Year award at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016. The next year, she became the head and president of Choc Boi Nation, an imprint of the Chocolate City label. Lambo soon released the EPs A Tale of Two Cities (2020) and Venus and Mars (2021) and was named Female DJ of the Year at the Beatz Awards in 2021 and 2022. In December 2023, she released a new DJ mix titled Africa Now.
