Seeking to create a unique sound for ame_no_parade, singer Kohei Fukunaga recruited guitar/synth player Kosuke Yamazaki and drummer Mineho Osawa for their very different musical tastes. ∙ ame_no_parade has drawn attention in Japan for their distinctive fusion of indie R&B, electro house, trap, and ’80s pop. ∙ Their albums Change Your Pops, Reason of Black Color, and Borderless reached the Top 30 in Japan. ∙ The band members are well-known for their skill at painting, in addition to fashion and jewelry design.
