Veilburner

A punishing death metal duo, Veilburner infuse occult, transhumanistic lyricism with thrashing waves of churning guitars and machine-gun percussion. Since building a fan base after an independently released trio of albums (2014’s The Three Lightbearers, 2015’s Noumenon, and 2016’s The Obscene Rite), they’ve released increasingly intricate, conceptual pieces, from 2019’s A Sire to the Ghouls of Lunacy to 2024’s symbol-heavy The Duality of Decapitation and Wisdom.
