In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first memory EVER is of a little wood music box my parents gave to me that my grandparents made containing 3 wind up songs - "Lara's Theme" "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" & a third song I could never identify. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Axis: Bold As Love Various Artists, The Sound of Music I still haven't found anything as harmonically rich and creatively exploratory as The Beach Boys. Hendrix almost single handedly influenced all preceding generations of players. The Sound of Music speaks for itself - phenomenal songs & performances. Tell us why you chose this song. “Summertime Sweetheart” This was actually a rejected commission that the patron loved but it didn't quite fit their project, so I released it as my own. I aimed to write in a country genre even though that's not my main gig, but I was quite pleased with the result. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing solo harmonica at the Taos in at an open mic when I was 20 y/o. One of the audience members approached me after the show and was so impressed he hand me a $50 bill and said "my girlfriend always hated the harmonica until now - thank you!" Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Bucket? How about bathtub? I'd love to release my whole catalogue of songs, tour internationally, play arenas, play as a sideman in a well established band, and collaborate with tons of other fantastic artists, etc.
