Sean Yeaton

Sean Yeaton is a Brooklyn-based musician and writer. A native of Boston, he played guitar and sang in the jazzy post-hardcore group Daniel Striped Tiger, which formed in 2003. The group released several albums and singles. After relocating to Brooklyn, Yeaton became the bassist for the garage punk band Parquet Courts, which also featured Teenage Cool Kids' Andrew Savage. The band released several highly acclaimed albums on What's Your Rupture? and Rough Trade. Yeaton also participated in the experimental post-rock collective Dweller at the Threshold, and wrote for publications such as Vice and Fader. Yeaton collaborated with songwriter Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon) on an album titled Yellow Kitchen, which was released by Kozelek's Caldo Verde label in 2017. ~ Paul Simpson
