Belfegore

A metal trio with indie sensibilities and a penchant for electronics -- much more of a rarity during the 1980s than a decade later -- Belfegore formed around German guitarist and vocalist Meikel Clauss, Canadian drummer Charly T. Charles and American bassist Raoul Walton. Signed to Elektra in the early '80s, the group released a self-titled LP in 1984 before passing into obscurity. ~ John Bush
