GIGI

After forming in 1994, GIGI became one the most prolific rock acts in Indonesia—releasing their first six albums in the first six years of their career. The Bandung-bred quintet earned renown for irreverent pop-rock crackers such as “Janji”, “Oo...Oo...Oo...” and “Ya.. Ya.. Ya..”. Thanks to the charismatic, idiosyncratic stage act of lead vocalist Armand Maulana and Dewa Budjana’s skilful guitar work, GIGI can be considered among the country’s most legendary bands.
