Munhoz & Mariano

Munhoz & Mariano is a Brazilian sertanejo duo from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso Do Sul. Formed in 2006 by childhood friends Raphael Calux Munhoz and Ricardo Mariano Bijos Gomes, the duo specializes in sertanejo universitario, a simplified variant of the traditional genre (loosely described as Brazil's take on country music) more reliant on pop music instrumentation. Ao Vivo Em Campo Grande, Munhoz & Mariano's first live CD/DVD, appeared in 2011. A second volume followed the next year, featuring at least two of their biggest hits in "Camaro Amarelo" -- which topped the Brazilian single charts -- and "Balada Louca." The 2014 follow-up Nunca Desista - Ao Vivo No Estádio Prudentão included "Seu Bombeiro," another significant hit. The full-length Ao Vivo Em São Paulo arrived in 2023, followed by the EPs Respeita As Moda 1 in December 2025 and Respeita As Moda 2 in January 2026.
