Class

Previously known as Zaius, New York City-based indie pop duo Class comprised vocalist/guitarist Peter Green -- also the founder of the indie label Double Agent, as well as the publisher of the fanzine Splashdown -- and vocalist/violinist Leigh Tsai. Class debuted in early 1997 with an eponymously titled 7" EP spotlighting their delicate, thoughtful acoustic sound; the LP First Class, a move towards more ambient territory, followed later in the year.
