Rise of Tyrants

Rise of Tyrants are an Italian death/thrash metal band from Bergamo, Italy. Their sonic trademark is a raw, self-produced, hard-grooving, brutal sound. After forming in 2011, the band rehearsed, wrote, and played gigs across Italy. In 2014, the original lineup recorded their debut, Trauma, for Buil2Kill Records. They returned in 2019 with Abnormality in Structure, which featured a rejiggered lineup including a new singer. After a hiatus, they decided to try again in 2023 and spent a year with a new lineup, writing and performing. Their third album, The Chronicles of Cardinal Pablo Mendoza, was released in 2025, offering an 11-track concept album detailing the depravity of the fictional titular character.
