In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. There were piano lessons. Like most kids, too young to appreciate them. Then there were the church and school choirs. Harmonies were learned. At 15, there was the acoustic guitar purchase. Bought on layaway. That's when the songwriting started. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elliott Smith, Either/Or Nick Drake, Pink Moon Sufjan Stevens, Greetings from Michigan, the Great Lake State Bonus Track Version Sad, introspective songs make me happy. These are some of the GOATs of Sadness. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having songs featured on the NPR program, ALL SONGS CONSIDERED: Open Mic and on the PBS SERIES, Roadtrip Nation. But more importantly, making and playing music with good people and friends over the years.
