About peejmudd
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child, my grandparents took me to see composer John Williams conduct the Boston Pops. Hearing his iconic themes live, outside their films, deepened my admiration for the cinematic—how music alone could evoke emotion, and create entire worlds. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? M83, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming Sigur Rós, Takk... Ólafur Arnalds, ...And They Have Escaped the Weight of Darkness Japanese Edition I just love the unbridled emotion. the rise and fall of the crescendos like waves on the ocean. At every moment of our lives, we all have one foot in a fairy tale and the other in the abyss Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “...Call Me by My Name” This song was a labor of love that took a few years to fully realize. The song's theme came to me after a particularly traumatic event, and it just wouldn't leave my mind until I completed recording the track. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? "Two Years Later", off the 2021 album "When You Find My Body, Call Me By My Name", briefly reached #2 on the iTunes Classical Chart in Spain last year. That was a little surreal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh, I've got so much on my bucket list still. After working with Jon from They Danced Like Programmed Angels on "this day is ours", it would be great to do more collaborations. I'd also love to play a few shows in the future.
