In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was around 6-7 years old, a classical ensemble visited our school. While listening to their concert, I realized two things: 1) Some people play music for a living. 2) This is exactly what I want to do. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Keith Jarrett Quartet, Personal Mountains Sidney Bechet, Petite fleur Taraf de Haïdouks, Dumbala Dumba I have chosen albums that I've studied in detail for years (by listening repeatedly and jamming to them), and still I cannot explain why they are so powerful, in three very different ways. Maybe it's the authenticity. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Points” I originally wrote this a minimalistic solo piece for piano. But when my band played it, it transformed into a rather wild latin-inspired explosion. it's not perfect, but I really love the energy! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was about to start playing solo flute at a funeral (a child had died). The first row was filled with her family members. I looked up and saw people sitting there, frozen. Total silence. I played the first tones, and instantly, everybody cried. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to make a jazz flute album with my trio (double bass, piano, flute). It will be an album out of this world when it comes to flute playing :)
