Bobby Marchan

About Bobby Marchan

Flamboyant R&B singer Bobby Marchan is best remembered for his 1960 R&B chart-topper "There Is Something on Your Mind," as well as singing on a string of hits for Huey "Piano" Smith & the Clowns. After making his way into show biz as a drag performer, Marchan first recorded as a solo act before joining Smith in 1957, and scored his biggest hit a year after striking out on his own.
