In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 19, my college band (which I guess wasn't too bad) got asked to go to Chris Stein and Blondie's loft to record some demos for Chrysalis Records. Having grown up obsessing over CBGB's bands this gave me a big head and annoyed my friends. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lou Reed, Transformer Talking Heads, Remain In Light (Deluxe Version) Tom Waits, Rain Dogs (2023 Remaster) RIL was my first album owned and first concert and still my fave. Transformer, Lou and Bowie together? what beats that? its how i learned to sing. And Rain Dogs? Showed me that its ok to get a little weird and still be funny and heartfelt. I hate you but I also hate myself. Maybe even more than I hate you! Well, its all a bit of a joke about the backstabbing music scene in the '90s. This version is not on the album. It's in the music video. I love it.
