Michael Schønwandt

Since first taking the podium in the late '70s, Michael Schønwandt has been in demand for his work leading orchestras in France, Germany, England, America, and his native Denmark. He has served as the principal conductor for several ensembles and is held in high regard by opera listeners for his work on recordings of some of the genre's greatest works.
