In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing a duet of 'Walking in the Air' during a rehearsal for my primary school nativity... There are earlier incidents of me getting up on stage and singing, so I'm told, but this is the first I remember. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alex Clare, The Lateness Of The Hour Laura Marling, Alas I Cannot Swim Paul Simon, Graceland (25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) Graceland - one of my Dad's favourites - I grew up listening to Simon and Garfunkel. Laura Marling - had this album on repeat for at least a decade after its release. Alex Clare (couldn't find Damien Rice 'O') - love every song on this album. Tell us why you chose this song. “Home” This song was written purely from my heart without thinking about whether someone else might ever hear it. I still remember sitting on the floor having those thoughts about what it was going to be like moving in with a partner for the first time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had an amazing opportunity to headline a show in Niamey, Niger. It was an amazing venue with a beautiful outdoor stage where I performed just after sunset. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have performed at some local festivals, but I would love to make it onto a small stage at a larger festival one day! (and a European tour would be great as well!)
