Tito Rojas

Puerto Rican salsa singer Tito Rojas released more than 40 albums during his renowned career, including a dozen Top 10 Billboard Tropical chart hits. ∙ The 1995 single “Esperandote” scored Rojas his first Billboard Tropical Airplay No. 1 and was nominated for Tropical Song of the Year at the 1996 Lo Nuestro Awards. ∙ In 2001 and 2002, he was nominated for back-to-back Latin Grammys for Best Salsa Album, for Rompiendo Noches and Quiero Llegar A Casa. ∙ His 2003 LP, Perseverancia, was nominated for Best Salsa/Merengue Album at the 46th Annual Grammy Awards. ∙ After his passing in late 2020, his 2007 compilation LP, Éxitos y Más, re-entered the Top 5 on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart.
