Johnny Delaware

Johnny Delaware is a folk-rock troubadour who sings observant, road-worn songs with a sense of warmth and rugged grace. Originally from South Dakota, he began his solo career in 2013, but soon joined the indie band SUSTO, which enjoyed national success in the latter half of that decade. Delaware's wayfaring eventually took him to Mexico, where he resumed his solo career, recording 2022's Energy of Light. After making another album with SUSTO, he returned in 2024 with a solo album, the glowing, psychedelic-tinged Para Llevar.
