In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing with Nestor Torres for the first time in the Dominican Republic at the age of 10 in front of thousands of people. As a mentor Nestor was a big part of my musical upbringing. I recorded my first album shortly after that performance. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Two memorable moments: Earning a doctorate in music from the University of Miami in 2016 and receiving a Latin GRAMMY nomination for my album Pa'lante in 2020.
