In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents took me to see 10,000 Maniacs (Natalie Merchant) when I was 6. It was sooooooo loud. I remember feeling like the music was filling my body completely. Shortly after that, I feel asleep in my auditorium chair :) -Jeff Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “That’s Not the Way” The song’s never been performed live, and maybe never will be. Its lyrics draw from my favorite book, Ishmael, weaving personal meaning into allegory and offering a quiet homage to the old folk tune One Tin Soldier. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing the 4th of July celebration at Folsom Field. I think we did this 3 or 4 consecutive years. I never thought my voice/guitar would ever be amplified throughout an entire 40,000 person stadium. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
