The Rich Hands

Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, the Rich Hands combine '50s rock & roll, '60s garage sounds, and '70s punk and write songs filled with equal parts energy and hooks, and have quickly become one of the most popular bands in a thriving local music scene. The band's first full-length album, Dreamers, was issued on vinyl by Fountain Records and on cassette by West Coast indie label Burger Records. By this time, the Rich Hands had been named most underrated band at the San Antonio Music Awards in both 2012 and 2013, though the second year they also took home trophies for Best Indie Rock Band and Best Album. More touring followed, and in 2014 the trio completed its second album, Out of My Head. ~ Mark Deming
