About Skin On Skin

Sudanese-Australian DJ and producer Skin on Skin combines jacking techno and house with hip-hop elements, occasionally featuring his own vocals. Born in Sudan, he was raised in Cairo, Egypt then Brisbane, Australia, where he started his career. He released his debut EP, Steel City Dance Discs, Vol. 9, in 2019; the track "Multiply" from the EP became an underground sensation. He followed up with more releases, including the equally popular single "Save Me"/"Way Ur Touchin' Me," but did not truly break out until his 2022 tune "Burn Dem Bridges," which combined techno with samples of U.K. drill for a unique, attention-grabbing sound that launched him to global stardom. The song was remixed by Nia Archives, and the recording of the pounding Sydney Boiler Room set in which he had premiered it went on to achieve millions of views. In late 2025 he released the mixtape Home Is True.
