In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad bought me my first karaoke machine when I was 5. It had 2 microphones and a huge speaker and I used to hold concerts in my living room regularly. I would even make my sisters join in for us to perform a whole show for our parents. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chandler Moore, Chandler Moore: Live in Los Angeles Jon Batiste, World Music Radio Kirk Franklin, Long Live Love Chandler Moore - I got to be at this live recording and it brings back such amazing memories. Jon Batiste - A feel good album for me! Kirk Franklin - I grew up listening to Kirk. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ko S'Agbara (feat. Dunsin Oyekan)” A huge honor because the chorus of that song is a traditional well known Yoruba chorus from Nigeria. The writers of it allowed me the honor of writing a song around it that helped create a bridge between cultures as well as put a fresh sound on it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Leading worship with 100k people at The Glory Dome in Nigeria. Standing there, hearing that many voices all lifting up the name of Jesus, I was completely undone. It’s a memory I’ll carry forever.
