About Greg Fender

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a kid I used to beat-box rap beats before I could play any instruments. This was during the 80's & 90's, so when I say rap, I mean like MC Hammer, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, and Run DMC. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Meshuggah, Destroy Erase Improve Soundgarden, Superunknown White Zombie, Astro-Creep: 2000 - Songs of Love, Destruction and Other Synthetic Delusions of the Electric Head These albums have probably gotten more spins out of me than any others I can think of at the moment. My first copy of Superunknown was on a cassette tape. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stockholm” I wrote this song about humanity's addiction to technology and how we thirst for it even if it's harmful to us. I put the whole thing together in less than a week and it felt cathartic. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I got to work on a project with Dino Cazares from Fear Factory. He's one of my biggest influences. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My touring days are behind me, but I want to collaborate with other artists and help them establish their own careers.
