Benny Ibarra

Latin pop artist, producer, and actor Benny Ibarra was born in Mexico City in 1970 to a family of artists. Ibarra spent several years performing alongside future superstars like Thalía and Paulina Rubio in the influential youth pop group Timbiriche before embarking on a successful solo career in 1992. Using just his first name, Benny released a string of best-selling albums, including El Tiempo (1994), Todo o Nada (2001), Llueve Luz (2003), Asi (2005), and La Marcha de la Vida (2010). ~ James Christopher Monger
