In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 4, my grandmother played piano while everyone sang along. Something magic happened for me. Later, I recall being first to arrive at the Boy Scout hall so I could play the piano. It was an early exploration of my relationship to music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Darrell Scott, Theatre of the Unheard Marc Cohn, Marc Cohn Sarah Siskind, Say It Louder Marc Cohn's album became a true companion and an influence while I was courting transatlantically. Darrell Scott's album inspired me as a songwriter during my many trips to Nashville. I love Sarah's voice, melodies, lyrics and the great production. Tell us why you chose this song. “When You Think No One Loves You” “When You Think No One Loves You” is special in its simple production and honest emotion recorded live in the studio with piano player Jonathan Goldsmith. My songwriting session with Daryl Burgess was also special. This song really moves people.
