About Olof Cornéer
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting by our piano when I was 10 or 11 years old. I pressed down the keys C, E and G and was instantly moved to another world. I haven't left that world. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? California EAR Unit, Philip Brett, UC Berkeley Chamber Chorus, Morton Feldman: Rothko Chapel, Why Patterns? Grant Gershon, Los Angeles Master Chorale, David Lang: The National Anthems & The Little Match Girl Passion Kronos Quartet, Pat Metheny, Steve Reich: Different Trains & Electric Counterpoint All these pieces share that the music is transparent, moving, but also static, the music is like light. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bells for Splitting Reality, Pt. 1” This is the first piece of music where I felt "I can do this!". The music that came to me just worked. It spoke to me and I haven't stopped listening.
