Abel Korzeniowski

About Abel Korzeniowski

Polish film/TV composer Abel Korzeniowski is recognized for both his quiet but emotive chamber music and dynamic orchestral-choral accompaniment. He started out scoring Polish films in the early 2000s before finding work in the U.K. and Hollywood later in the decade. Highlights of his work include his 2004 original score for Fritz Lang's silent classic Metropolis -- that one with a 150-piece combined orchestra and choir -- the TV series Penny Dreadful (2014-2016), and the psychological thriller Nocturnal Animals (2016). ~ Marcy Donelson
