Dave Harrington

Guitarist Dave Harrington is best known as one half of the experimental duo Darkside, as well for his own albums fusing psychedelic rock, jazz, and ambient electronic music. Along with Darkside bandmate Nicolas Jaar, he showcased his genre-blurring approach on 2013's Psychic, 2021's Spiral and 2025's Nothing. Harrington has also maintained an expansive solo career, issuing projects ranging from the experimental solo releases Quiet Spaces, Cathedral Mountain, and Heed to his fully improvised trio with Max Jaffe and Patrick Shiroishi, as on 2024's Speak, Moment and 2026's Colors.
