About Elles Bailey
Elles Bailey is a British singer, songwriter, and bandleader. Her work is a hybrid of raw blues-rock, rough-hewn blue-eyed soul, and stirring, gospelized Americana, all delivered with a forcefully expressive, deeply smoky instrument existing at the crossroads of Maggie Bell and Kim Carnes. Wildfire, her 2017 debut, was recorded in Nashville with its finest session talent. 2019's Road I Call Home topped the U.K. blues charts, and she took home prizes for Album of the Year and Artist of the Year at 2020's British Blues Awards. Bailey tracked a third studio album, Shining in the Half Light, which was released in February 2022 and followed by Beneath the Neon Glow on Cooking Vinyl in August 2024. Following U.S., European, and U.K. tours, she returned to the studio with producer Luke Potashnick and an all-star cast of contributors. The album, Can't Take My Story Away, appeared in January 2026.
