John Jeter

The music director of Arkansas' Fort Smith Symphony, John Jeter has built the group into one of the top small-city symphonic ensembles in the U.S. He has spearheaded an unusually large group of educational activities on the orchestra's part. On recordings, with the Fort Smith Symphony and other groups as far afield as Austria and Sweden, Jeter has emerged as a champion of the music of Florence Beatrice Price. With the Malmö Opera Chorus and Orchestra, he released the album Florence Beatrice Price: Choral Works.
