About Mighty Mo Rodgers
Indiana-born Mo Rodgers grew up on everything from classical music to blues to jazz, and eventually became involved in the 1960s L.A. R&B scene, playing with T-Bone Walker, Brenton Wood, and others. Later, he ventured into production, overseeing a Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee album, and became a staff songwriter for Motown. Rodgers finally began his solo career in the ‘90s, when he began releasing a string of blues/R&B albums that spotlighted his keyboard skills and his knack for writing sophisticated, often socially conscious lyrics.
