In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Music has always been a part of my life. My mother was a music teacher so she was constantly bringing instruments home to prepare for classes. I would borrow them, so early on I learned piano, guitar, flutes, lutes, and anything else I could grab. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Billy Joel, The Essential Billy Joel (Limited Edition) Holland Phillips, A Sense of Distance Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon (2011 Remastered) I think that Dark Side of the Moon is the most iconic album ever created. Billy Joel Essentials is the essence of the American singer songwriter, and A Sense of Distance (mastered by Grammy Winner Ricky Kej) is a pristine instrumental album. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Through the Rabbit Hole” It's an epic song, foreboding and mysterious, and explodes with drums about half way through. It's a great song for daydreaming, and the imagination. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing and/or working with (or under) so many talented musicians, like Paul Simon, Three Dog Night, American Noise, members of the Michael Stanley Band and many others. It's motivating to see how many incredibly talented people are out there Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My only goal was and always is to create and produce music that other people enjoy listening to.
