About Warren Haynes
Warren Haynes is a generation-spanning guitar hero. He wasn't out of grade school when some of his best-known collaborators were at their peak, but he's earned a powerful reputation for his fiery guitar work steeped in blues and Southern rock traditions, and he's distinguished himself as a songwriter, bandleader, and solo artist as well as a gifted sideman. After he broke through working with Dickey Betts and the reunited Allman Brothers Band, Haynes co-founded Gov't Mule, whose blend of jam band and blues-rock sounds made an impact on albums like 1998's Dose and 2017's Revolution Come ... Revolution Go, as well as their many live releases. On his own, Haynes has issued an eclectic body of solo work, including the 2011 Southern Soul homage Man In Motion, the 2015 roots music set Ashes & Dust, and 2025's The Whisper Sessions, which stripped his songs down to guitars and vocals.
