Producers and LuckyMe affiliates Hudson Mohawke (Glasgow, Scotland) and Lunice (Quebec, Canada) teamed together in 2012 to form TNGHT. The duo made its live debut that March at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas; a London, England gig followed three months later. By the end of that July, the duo released a self-titled EP issued on the Warp label. Given the discographies of both producers, it wasn't surprising to hear left-field hip-hop full of hard-hitting beats and cartoonish sounds. ~ Andy Kellman
