Kelly Poon

Armed with sweet vocals and a mesmerising tone, Singaporean singer Kelly Poon has become a mainstay of Mandarin pop at home and abroad. Appearing on singing competition Project SuperStar in 2005, she was an audience favourite, eventually finishing second and cementing her presence on the Mandopop scene. Since her first album Love Me, Kelly, which brimmed with romantic ballads and soaring melodies, Poon has continued to evolve as an artist, exploring upbeat, danceable pop on songs like “Shakalaka Baby”, her soaring voice always shining through.
