Spider

Spider is the name used for recording and performing purposes by Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Jane Herships, who played in public for the first time in December 2004. Her 2007 debut album, The Way to Bitter Lake, presents fragile acoustic-based singer/songwriter material with an individual, mildly eccentric cast that will more for the alternative crowd than the traditional folk one. ~ Richie Unterberger
