A German rapper of Afghan heritage, SSIO makes music heavily influenced by golden-age American hip-hop, with elements of G-funk production, stony West Coast flows, and even traces of new jack swing surfacing in his sound. After steadily releasing new music throughout the 2010s, his 2025 album All or Nothing reached the highest-charting positions the rapper had ever achieved.
