Ludo

Named after a hulking-yet-endearing character from the 1980s fantasy film LABYRINTH, Ludo is an alternative-rock ensemble known for letting its geek flag fly. Formed in Missouri by singer/guitarist Andrew Volpe, the group finally hit the majors with its second full-length album (YOU’RE AWFUL, I LOVE YOU), which was helmed by renowned producer Matt Wallace (Maroon 5, Sugarcult). The band's brand of nerdy, nice-guy power-pop finally began to attract mainstream attention in 2008 with the catchy single “Love Me Dead.”
