In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My brother would tell me to learn certain songs on guitar that he liked. One of them was a Pink Floyd song and I completely shocked him when I showed him a day later that I learned it by ear. I don't think he expected me to be able to pull it off. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Anderson .Paak, Malibu Childish Gambino, "Awaken, My Love!" Solange, When I Get Home I can say that I'm still not sick of "Malibu" - it's so diverse with all it's genre blending. I'll prob be able to listen to that album forever. "Awaken.." is just so incredible and I'm lucky to say I saw it performed live before it was released. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Want It so Bad” I started writing this as a pitch demo with a couple friends. A few years later I came back to it and made it into a founky fun type of song. It was a dark sound originally, and I liked the juxtaposition of how it turned out as a feel good vibe. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most exciting music moments was when I was invited to collab with CeeLo Green and Pharell out in the Bahamas. Getting to create music surrounded by ocean and pink sand is one of my favorite memories that I'm forever grateful for. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As long as I'm in this current consciousness - I'm going to keep going. I don't like to force expectations, but at the same time I put in the work. So we'll see what the universe delivers... I just want to keep getting better.
