In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was singing during a youth service in the Celestial Church of Christ, where the rhythm of the sekere and talking drum echoed through the white garments and filled the air with a spiritual presence. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BBO, Unscripted Sound - EP Tope Alabi, Yes And Amen Tope Alabi, Ty Bello, The Spirit of Light Tope Alabi and BBO are powerful vessels whose deeply spiritual songs carry the weight of divine presence and prophetic inspiration. Tell us why you chose this song. “Emi Mimo” Emi mimo is a song i recorded when i felt lost and far from the holy spirit. The song kept coming to me and it helped boost my connectivity to my maker. As the saying goes, without the holy spirit, void is human. Ask and jesus will give you. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I never thought i would ever come to a point in my life where i would write and record gospel songs. As a person that comes from a muslim background, singing for God has been the best memorable moment so far. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to host a podcast and do monthly music gatherings where we just talk and sing about God and Jesus our personal savior.
