About Bob Williams

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At the age of 3, I remember always belting out the chorus to Rhinestone Cowboy. Another early memory was listening to my father sing Elvis songs. One of the first albums I ever bought was the vinyl album - Heartbreak City by The Cars. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Neil Young, Harvest Pixies, Doolittle The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band I love the innovating songwriting, the imagery and the imagination from all three of these albums. They are all works of art. I have always admired their unique production quality. And Neil Young's "Heart of Gold" is a song for the ages. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Storm 2.0 (Asheville, NC)” I wrote Storm 2.0 in one sitting only a week after Hurricane Helene caused massive destruction in Asheville and across western North Carolina. My father had died three months earlier, my marriage was being tested and I needed to sit with my grief.
