Chewy Marble

The Los Angeles-based power pop band Chewy Marble was founded by keyboardist Brian Kassan, formerly of the Wondermints. Rounded out by singer/guitarist Stu Forman, bassist Derrick Anderson and drummer Tamera Glover, Chewy Marble debuted at the first Poptopia Festival in 1996; their first LP, a self-titled effort issued on the Permanent Press label, followed a year later. ~ Jason Ankeny
