In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to a Randy Travis cassette tape my dad had made on repeat in the stereo we had in our living room at the Farm House. I was about the size of the speakers at the time so I would have been 3 or 4 years old! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alan Jackson, The Very Best Of Alan Jackson Eagles, The Very Best of Eagles Eric Church, Sinners Like Me Each of these albums is fantastic front to back without a single track I ever skip. For me, I take a ton of inspiration from these albums for my own writing and music and continue to go back to them despite countless new albums being released. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Wrong Turns” To me this will always be the best song I've ever written. It may not be a radio hit and may not be the type of song you play on a big festival stage, but as a songwriter to me it's perfect. Sometimes it takes a few Wrong Turns to lead you right. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing the Grand River RAM Rodeo when the grounds had to be evacuated for a tornado warning. Sound crew packed up and left so we strung together whatever gear we could find, used my truck bed as a stage and put a show on anyways! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So long as I can continue to make and share my music with my friends and fans I'm happy and content. That's what it's all about for me. Telling my stories and connecting with people. Wouldn't mind a Randy Travis collaboration though...
