James "D Train" Williams

James Williams got the nickname "D-Train" as a high school football star in Brooklyn. He teamed with keyboardist Hubert Eaves, III from 1981 to 1985 as D-Train, and they enjoyed two Top 20 and one Top R&B hit during their tenure. Williams had one Top 10 and one Top 20 R&B single from 1986 to 1988 on Columbia, with "Misunderstanding" peaking at #10. ~ Ron Wynn
